1. What are Target Scores?
A Target Score is a NET score to equal or beat for handicap golfers of between 2 over your handicap to 6 under your handicap, to win up to $500. They are available for APT tournaments. Target Socres come in STABLEFORD format.
2. How many Target Scores can I use?
You can purchase up to "5" Target Scores at a time, but you may only use one Target Score per tournament day. If the tournament is over two days you can reveal a Target Score for Day 1 and Day 2 prior to playing.
The table below shows the prize ranges and rnadomized scores between $20 and $500.
TARGET SCORE | MINIMUM PRIZE | MAXIMUM PRIZE |
34 | $20 | $70 |
36 | $35 | $100 |
38 | $50 | $125 |
40 | $75 | $250 |
42 | $100 | $500 |
3. How do you determine my Target Score?
You reveal one of each of the 5 different scores over 5 different tournaments, it's toally random what order the scores are revealed. A prize amount is then randomly attached to the score in the background and your score and prize are revealed at the same time. You can not change your score or prize amount after it is revealed or select a different option.
4. How do the prizes work and refunds?
We will sort through winners with APT, and you will be notified via email within 48 hours of your prize. There are no refunds once you have revealed a Target Score. If you did not play due to weather and others did play, then you forfeit your entry.
5. Where can I spend my winnings?
You can spend with one of the nominated APT partners.
6. Will you spam my mobile number?
No. Your mobile number simply acts as a unique identifier specific to you. Think of it like a barcode on an item. You may occasionally get messages about any updates to Target Scores.
7. Do my Target Scores get increasingly difficult the more I play?
No. The system does not know which blank Target Score you are about to reveal. All 5 scores will be revealed in a random order. It is still easier to beat a score than trying to beat a field of players to win a prize, so have fun and tell your friends to have a go too!
